I Gamble a lot

I think of profit without realizing the impact of shortcut means of getting it. When I drink a lot, smoke, and bet a lot, I gamble a lot with my health and economic stability. I tarnish my dreams, integrity, and reputation with faith and false hope.

Needing to entertain myself or pass time through gambling, I get hooked up to the habit, unable to quit it even when it spoils my life.

I wake up with hopes sometimes,

I love to see a day in hours,

I count what I have done in seconds,

I gamble a lot.

Gambling

I see love when I love someone,

I love because of a person in me,

When I love without a reason,

I gamble a lot.

I open my ears to work for money,

For the money, I forget about many,

Once I was happy with  many,

I gamble a lot.

I open my eyes to an examination,

Testing what I don't mention,

Examined as a vision,

I gamble a lot.

I see drunkards in much oil and gold,

Coming from hearts of addicted oceans of bitter salt.

Turning tears into any sweet salt,

I gamble a lot.

I see parrots singing with diamonds in their throats,

Diamonds took in hastily by lust,

Who doesn't know sugar is so sweet?

I gamble a lot.

Then I preach too much fat and sugar is bad,

But my tongue's too much appetite,

The richest are sugar and fat,

I gamble a lot.

I have fun a lot and play a lot,

I sleep a lot and dream a lot,

I gain a lot and lose a lot,

I gamble a lot.

Once it was a land of green leaves and twigs,

Now it's old barren hardly lifeless,

Awakening signs of tears,

For I gamble a lot.

I sneak to get what I eat.

I smoke and sniff to feel high,

Addicted to everything I get,

I gamble a lot.

In a mental chess match,

Game-winning is a wish,

But trust draws me back,

I gamble a lot.

When I sacrifice what's human,

I become a machine,

Life is a gamble in million,

I gamble a lot.

Digging deep down in a hurry,

Ups and downs in a worry,

With the price of life, anything goes,

I gamble a lot.

The sun comes and goes every day,

Sitting sometimes walking for luck,

Where there's a sign of a bee I break,

I gamble a lot.

Stop and will weep,

For wine and women,

For money and sleep,

For I gamble a lot.

Nature says everything,

Hot days to remind of the vision,

As I cool again,

I gamble a lot.

Every moment I scratch my head,

Drunken in  seconds of imagination,

I dream of a smile in the vision,

I gamble a lot.
