It's in imagination, when you think of medicine, and cure for the most illnesses not to include a fresh-happy mind, a proper-positive attitude, and spectacular dishes of natural tasty meals, to accompany your life.

It is then you wish for a bunch of fine days, in each year in those moments of life. As a sip of fine wisdom, for each grey hair as each day passes you by, you need it all cheap,  nutrition for a happy mind.

Waking up to have a sip of feeling fine, without pain somewhere in our bodies is a challenge to many of us. When we feel abnormal, we look for quick remedies.

We spend a lot trying to find cure, and a feeling good sense. We take for granted the connection between feeling good and nutrition in relation to our mental perception towards medicine.

On top of that in today's busy world, it's hard to keep ourselves healthy and strong. We do know that health is an important thing to take care of, as we try to rebuild  and restoring our lives.

It is more expensive to treat non communicable diseases, than taking precautions earlier, before getting an illness related to lifestyle and diet.

Many lives nowadays are overstrained by artificial foods, diseases due to overnutrition and undernutrition conditions and hectic life situations.

Health is wealth, therefore health comes first above all other things. When we talk of health, we talk of nutrition, a stable body, and a mental state.

Nutrition is undeniably the most powerful medicine of them all. There is a greater relationship between nutrition and the mind.

"Let nutrition be your medicine".-Hippocrates

The basic principle of health is embedded in nutrition. Adopting a simpler, more natural dietary lifestyle improves health and brings energy. We can eat larger quantities of food without gaining weight and still cut grocery bills in half. We can gain control of our lives by simply improving our perception towards dieting.

Harmony between mind and body is of a great importance, when it comes to a true and long-lasting wellbeing. Food is a natural remedy. Medicine should be the body and mind.

Medicine is the food we eat and kind of lifestyle we lead in our lives. A positive state of mind and proper diet during illness can be associated with a quick healing.

Norman Cousins in his book Anatomy of Illness says, "Each patient carries his doctor inside him." To him death was not the fundamental lossin life; only the known one, the certain one. What was the wrenching death, the preventable death, was the death of positive emotions while we were still alive: hope, faith, love, purpose, spirit, determination, festivity.

Popular mistakes in regard to health are a result of customs of our global society. We think of tablets and capsules as well as injections more than we think of the kind of food we eat, and the lifestyle we lead.

Before things get out of hand and control, it's better to think of nutrition, and our perception towards illnesses and diet, as the first line of defense.

Developing a strong immune system, we need proper diet on daily basis. We need carbohydrates for energy and fats for regulating heat in our bodies. Also we need protein for building and repairing our bodies as we go about with our daily activities.

We need vitamins and minerals to enhance our bodies' immune systems. Therefore our emotional, mind and body well being highly depend on kind of nutrition we take and lifestyle.

Not only that but also feeling good is linked with proper diet, and natural food. It is a nutrition-psychological treat, that keeps body and mind in balance. Happy hormones like dopamine, and serotonin are linked with proper diet, activity, and good environment that encourage vitality and happiness.

There are two things to take into consideration when it comes to nutrition.

  • Eating more.
Whole grains. Freely use brown rice, millet, barley, corn, wheat, and rye. Also consume freely of whole-grain products, such as breads, pastas, shredded wheat, tortillas, and ugali.

Tubers and legumes. Freely use all kinds of white potatoes, sweet potatoes, and yams. Feel happy to eat peas, lentils, chickpeas and beans of every kind.

Fruits and vegetables. Eat several fresh, whole fruits everyday. Limit fruits canned in syrup and fiber-poor fruit juices. Also eat a variety of vegetables daily. Enjoy fresh salads with low-salt dressings.

Water. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Vary the routine with a twist of lemon, ginger, and occasional herbal teas.

  • Eating less.
Visible fats and oils. Avoid fatty meals, cooking and salad oils, sauces, margarines, butter, dressings and shortening. Use spreads and nuts sparingly. Avoid frying.

Sugars.Limit sugar, honey, molasses, syrups, pies, cakes, pastries, candy, cookies, soft drinks, and sugar-rich desserts, like pudding and ice cream. Save these foods for special occasions.

Foods containing cholesterol. Avoid meat, sausages, egg yolks, and liver. Limit daily products, if used, to low-fat cheeses and nonfat milk products. If you eat fish and poultry, use them sparingly.

Salt. Use minimal salt during cooking. Banish the saltshaker. Strictly limit highly salted products, crackers, soy sauce, salted popcorn, nuts, chips, pretzels, and garlic salt.

Alcohol. Avoid alcohol and caffeinated beverages such as coffee, colas, and black tea.

Taking care of yourself is very cheap.

You need a positive mind for a proper self care and treat yourself right. Fill your home with sunshine. Brighten your day. Spend at least a few minutes outdoors everyday. Live a balanced life. Make time for work, play, rest, exercise, and hobbies. Nurture relationships and spiritual growth. These cost nothing.

Moreover, protect your body from harmful substances, such as tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, and drugs. Get enough rest. Sleep seven to eight hours. Build your life with love, faith, trust and hope. Naturally heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Doing all that's natural, from diet to spending time in fresh and natural environment is very cheap, comparing to eating poorly, and leading irresponsible lifestyle.

This will later be even much expensive especially when trying to fix an illness related to non communicable diseases such as cancer, coronary diseases, diabetes, etc.

Lastly, it's our perception towards dieting and illnesses that need to change. Our bodies and minds are very powerful means of healing, and restoring health, and a general environment of wellbeing.

Therefore, when having an illness or leading a certain lifestyle, listen to your mind and body, then do the right thing, keep yourself happy and optimistic.
